How does one describe oneself? With trepidation and caution? Or with boldness and enthusiasim? My friend Heather said it best. "Type the truth." I'm a nerd. I play RPGs and computer games until my friends can't stand me, I work a low-wage job, and I read in between those two and sleep. Despite my nerdishness, my friends seem to truly enjoy being around me. And for those who have read "The Borders of Infinity", the feathers are blue.
You want more? ok, fine. Here:

Quotes:
"The power of words is overlooked, often because they are used to wound without thought." - Austin Buelt
“You know, I used to think it was awful that life was so unfair. Then I thought, wouldn’t it be much worse if life were fair, and all the terrible things that happen to us come because we actually deserve them? So, now I take great comfort in the general hostility and unfairness of the universe.”
– Marcus Cole, Babylon 5
"A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects." - Robert A. Heinlein
Once again we wander on and whence we come to our destination, none shall know. And none shall care either, for in the end the journey, not the destination, proves the mettle of the traveler. - Austin Buelt
TESTIMONIALS!!!
See, these people like me!
"Austin has a way about him that makes me feel like I'm in my own centered comfort zone. He's open and honest and is there when you need him to be there - a strong handsome shoulder to cling to. He's warmth personified." --

"I don't know you well, but what I do know makes me think that you're a wonderful guy, sweet, good natured, with a great sense of humor. You make me laugh and that is 75% of dead sexy to me. I know you're going through a hard time right now, but I can tell you from experience things will get better. Things will improve. There will be a silver lining. *hugs*" --

hmmm...what to say....You're the best "little brother" I've ever had...considering my mom had all girls *grin*. I admire your imagination and sense of humor as well. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to jibe you as much as I do...*grin* *ducks* --
